Half of Brits would rather be gifted an experience this Christmas than material goods

Two in five couples would rather put the cash they’d typically spend on gifts for each other – in their holiday savings instead. A poll of 2,000 adults, who celebrate Christmas, found 51 percent prefer presents which are, or contribute to, experiences, rather than material goods.
